With cold weather upon us, the District reminds its customers to protect their pipes from freezing. Pipes in unheated spaces should be insulated and if necessary wrapped with heat tape. In severe cases a faucet can be left slowly dripping to prevent pipes from freezing.
Water service for Reems Creek is now being restored. ETA for full service restoration is 3 P.M. This site will be updated as more information is available.
There will be a planned water outage for Reems Creek and Sherwood Heights on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2019 has concluded. All customers should have water service restored.
District offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 21, 2019 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. 24 hour emergency service for leaks or breaks can still be accessed by dialing 828-253-5551 and selecting Option #9.
There will be a planned water outage for the Sunny Ridge subdivision on Tuesday, January 15th between 8 AM and 1 PM to install system hardware. Some customers may not notice the effects of the outage but all customers should be prepared for loss of pressure and/or flow during these hours.
District crews are repairing a water main break on Elkwood Avenue. Water is being restored at this point. Customers in the immediate District vicinity may notice loss of water flow and/or pressure during repairs. This site will be updated as more information is available.
The District's main office will open at 10 AM on Tuesday, December 11th, 2018. Customers are encouraged to remain at home and avoid venturing out to the office, as all District office functions are available online.

The water outage for Woodland Hills has been resolved. Customers may experience some air in their water lines and should let water run clear before doing any white laundry.
District offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 22-23, 2018 in observance of Thanksgiving. Virtually all functions of District offices can be found online, including bill payment, applications for service, general questions, and reporting leaks or outages.
