There will be a planned outage for the Blackstone Avenue area for system improvements beginning at 8:30 AM. The outage is expected to last until approximately 2 PM. Streets affected include Blackstone Avenue, Clifton Place, and Hillcrest Street.

The water main break in West Buncombe has been repaired and all customers should have water service pressure restored in full. Discolored water should be allowed to run clear before using it to wash white laundry or for cooking or drinking. 

Because of the ongoing drought, the District has implemented voluntary water restrictions.

Crews are working on District apparati in the area of Jonestown Road on Thursday, Oct. 24, between 10 AM and 3 PM. Some customers in that area may notice loss of water pressure or flow during those hours. 

There will be a planned outage for the Woodfin area on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, to perform system upgrades. The outage will occur between 9 PM and 5 AM. Some customers may notice loss of pressure or flow during those hours as improvements are made.

District offices will be closed Monday, September 2, 2019 in observance of Labor Day. Customers with emergencies such as a water line leak or break may contact our office at 828-253-5551 to access after-hours emergency service.

The Weaverville Fire Department will be conducting hydrant testing on Wednesday, August 7 and Thursday, August 8, 2019. Testing will be in the Woodland Hills area.

There will be a planned water outage for the Baird Cove area on Saturday, 7/20/19 from 11 PM until 6 AM. Construction crews are making improvements in the area and some customers will notice loss of water pressure and/or flow during those hours.

The District will be making system improvements Saturday, July 13, 2019 between 11 PM and 5 AM Sunday, July 14, 2019. During this period customers in the Woodfin and Beaver Lake area may notice reduced water pressure, flow, or complete loss of flow and pressure while work is being completed.

District offices will be closed Thursday, July 4, 2019 in observance of Independence Day. Virtually all District functions can be accessed online, such as starting or stopping service, making a payment, or turning in a leak adjustment. Please browse our website for our full range of options.
