There will be a water outage from 1-4 PM to make system repairs in the Weaverville Hwy/ Old Home Rd area including Audubon Drive.
The District announces that the Boil Water Notice for the system has been lifted and water can be used as normal. Customers who experience any discolored water should still run their water until it runs clear before drinking.
We want to update you on an important change to our water usage guidance due to the recent finding of the presence of lead in City of Asheville water tests. Before boiling water for drinking, please run your faucet for two minutes before collecting water to boil to ensure safety and quality.
District offices will be closed Monday, November 11, 2024 in observance of Veteran's Day. Virtually all District requests, such as paying your bill, starting or stopping service, leak adjustment requests, and other issues can be handled on our website.

District crews continue to locate and repair water main leaks and breaks as we work to restore water to all customers. Customers in the New Stock Road and Baird Cove Road areas may notice water services sporadically resuming as adjustments to the system and repairs are being made.
Customers in the Weaverville/New Stock Road/Baird Cove Road area will experience alternating periods of water loss and pressure as crews perform system tests during the remainder of the week.
