Customers in the West Buncombe area may begin seeing water service return this morning as Asheville water feeds are being restored. Water is not considered safe to drink and should be boiled vigorously for several minutes before drinking or cooking. Water is safe to use for all other non-potable purposes. Customers are asked to conserve water as much as possible as water line breaks and low pressure areas continue to be identified.
Customers in the Baird Cove and Reynolds Mountain areas may notice water services interrupted sporadically as new water line breaks are located and isolated.
